Steady

Been feeling well the past couple of days.

On the days I have energy I try to fit TONS of stuff in.  Errands, fun, friends, house work, arranging bills and talking on the phone with hospitals (exhausting)… everything.  Sure, I push myself to the limits doing this but I never know how long these “good” stretches will last so I want to use every single minute.  My body doesn’t ache, I am not short of breath, I’m gonna keep riding this wave…  (and I won’t sit here and wonder why!)

  1. Lauren, I found your website through Wellsphere. I am a huge believer that we have the ability to cure what the medical community deems “incurable”. I really need to believe that as I was diagnosed with an “incurable” vestibular disorder last spring that has really turned my world on end (literally).

When I first became ill I read about an individual, Donald Gazzaniga who was in congestive heart failure and on the heart transplant list. Thru diet modification he was able to get himself off that transplant list … something that doctors thought previously impossible.

I just wanted to share that with you. It’s something that I think about on a daily basis (several times a day when I’m stuck in bed :) )

    Never give up!

    Best,

    Susan

    • Thanks so much for sharing Susan. It’s stories like this one that keep me going as well! I truly believe we all have that power within ourselves. It gets hard to stay positive, especially when you are lying in bed feeling awful, but I’ll be thinking of you as well and we can keep each other going!
      sending happy hugs your way…

  2. You have such amazing strength and I admire your courage.

Some days I feel so down in my spirit and have no energy to even get off the couch.

You certainly have me thinking how blessed I am with good health and I should not take it for granted.

You are an inspiration and I wish you well.

  3. Hey Lauren! It’s Jill…just catching up on your blog! Glad you are having a good few days, yippeeee! Don’t over do it ;)
Sending love and hugs and kisses.
Can’t wait to see you again soon. You never cease to amaze me, woman!
